As Catherine Anita departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Catherine Anita. Though Catherine Anita may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her siblings, Helen Funk of Lakewood, Colorado, Jef Funk (Christina) of Mobile and Paul Funk (Robin) of Petal, Mississippi; her niece Michelle Bittner (David) of Bay Minette, Alabama; her nephews, Jacob Waltman (Jessica) of Pensacola and Zach Waltman of Willingston; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Javan, Brinley Waltman and Baby Bittner.
