It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Wayne Maghan of Gautier, Mississippi, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Glendon Maghan, Sr. and Lorna Maghan; his siblings-in-law, Tarry and Gladys Johnson; his brother Jesse Maghan; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Chesler, Jane Johnson Fleming and Sally Johnson.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carolyn; his wife Sara Johnson Maghan of Gautier; his children, Bruce Wayne Maghan, Jr. (Stacey) of Metairie, Louisiana and Kay Marie Maghan of Gulf Shores, Alabama; his grandsons, Conor Maghan (Emily), Aidan Maghan and Daley Maghan of Pennsylvania; and his siblings, Alice "Bitty" Chesler of Maryland, Winkie Stiles (Jim) of North Carolina and George G. "Buddy" Maghan, Jr. (Carolyn) of Virginia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, long-time close friends, and many more friends.
