She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jimmie Morehead and Gladys Burton Morehead; her former husband Clarence Knighton; her husband Marion Emerson; her daughter Stephanie Emerson; her son-in-law Terry Riggs; her children, John Thomas "Tommy" Knighton of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Joe Emerson Riggs of Indiana, Mark Sagrest Emerson Sr. (Joanne) of Pascagoula, MS and Jimmie Lyn Emerson of Gautier, MS.; her grandchildren, Chris Harber (Jody) of Indiana, Amanda McRae (Roy) of George County, MS, Mark Emerson Jr. (Tabatha) of Hurley, MS, Jason Emerson, LeeAnn Sunday of Ocean Springs, MS and Kelli Emerson (Justin Moran) of Pascagoula, MS.; her great grandchildren, Donavin, Mikayla, Jason, Hunter, Alyssa, Katelynn, Mark III (Tripp), Westen and Emery; and her close friends, Pat Grube of Escatawpa and Mattie Franklin of Moss Point.
