It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Esters (Gautier, Mississippi), born in Biloxi, Mississippi, who passed away on May 5, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Rehofus Esters Jr. and Michael Esters; her parents, Louise Brown and Frank Carter; her grandmother Isabelle Foster; her siblings, Bernadette Washington and Frank Carter Jr.; her former husband Rehofus Esters; and her daughter-in-law Mellar Esters.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. John (Mariela Esters), Steven (Pamela Esters) and Kelvin (Llatetra Brown-Esters); and her daughters-in-law, Yolanda Esters and Abigail Esters. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
