He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Beard and Desta Gregory Beard; his siblings, Ruvene Senter Adams and Bill Beard; and also Dorothy "Dot" Beard.
He is survived by: his son Terry Beard (Connie) of Fulton; his grandchildren, Brad Beard (Kaysie) of Fulton and Bridgett Cash (Joe) of Tupelo; and his great grandchildren, Emmalee Cash, Cayson Beard, Evalynn Cash and Braley Jo Beard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
