He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Wood and Mary Irene Hood Wood; his great grandchild Luna Hamilton; his wife Tommie Lou Wood; his daughter Mary Pitts; and his granddaughter Kimberly Ables.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Poteet, Thomas Wood, Tina Michelle Taylor (Jason), James Wood and Trent Wood; his grandsons, Charlie Ables, Ben Ables, Adam Taylor and Zach Taylor (Katilyn); and his great great grandchild Asta Pitts.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bean's Ferry Church of Christ (12275 MS-25, Fulton, MS 38843). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
