Leon Walters Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Walters (Fulton, Mississippi), who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leon Walters to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Walters and Lessie Martin Walters; and his siblings, Rex, Rad, Charles and Maynelle.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Walters (Lisa), John Walters (Melanie) and Anna Walters Cox (Tommy); his grandchildren, Blake (Laura), Waverly, Katherine (Grant), John David, Elizabeth, Thomas (Hannah) and Preston; and his great grandchildren, James, Charles and Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (1822 Mt Pleasant Rd, Fulton, MS 38843). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church building fund or a charity of your choice.
