He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eugene and Geneva Irene Waddle Hood; and his siblings, James Earl Hood and Linda Bobo. He is survived by: his children, Earl Eugene Hood II (Mindy) and Laverne Hood of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Patricia Swords of New Albany; and his grandchildren, Evann, Boyd, Delacy, Javier and Kapone.
