Julia Raburn Grimes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2020, at the age of 75, Julia Raburn Grimes of Fulton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cleetis Raburn and Ernie Mae Raburn (Stovall); her grandfather Reverend G. S. Raburn; her friend JJ; her children, Julie Grimes Waldorf (Michael) of New York, NY and Mark Grimes (Jill) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Hayden Waldorf of New York, Jane and Molly Grimes of Houston; her husband George; and her sisters, Betty Willis, Linda Kirksey, Joan Barber, Sue Nichols and Willa Dean Gaddy. She was also cherished by her husband and two children, her four grandchildren, her five older sisters and her twelve nephews and nieces.

For safety in light of the pandemic, the family asks that any relatives and close friends who feel comfortable attending please wear a mask for the entire time and maintain social distancing.
