She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elmor Johnson and Catherine McKey Johnson; and her husband Dr. George W. Howell. She is survived by: her children, Attorney, S. Janice Howell (George Newbury III) of Alexandria, VA and Dr. Michael G. Howell (Ann) of Fulton, MS; and her grandchildren, Karen Howell, Steven Howell, Amanda Ellison, Thomas Chism, George Newbury IV, Elizabeth Newbury and Daniel Newbury. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other friends.
Memorials are encouraged to be made to Sanctuary Hospice House.
