He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Hiram Johnston and Maudie Mae Kight Johnston; his siblings, Gilruth "Gillie" Woolwine Johnston and Gloria Jean Johnston (Purvis); his wife Martha Ann Mann Johnston; his daughters, Melissa Gail Pucik (Don) and Melinda Joyce Westmoreland (Johnny); his sister Gloria Jean Purvis (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Purvis, John T. Saxton and Joyce Baughman (Dick). He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
