He is survived by: his daughter Kaysie Beard (John David Beane); his grandchildren, Clay, Cody Cayson, Cayson Beard, Braley Jo Beard, John Tyler Beane and Kylee King; his siblings, Martha Weatherford (Tommy), Patti Hannon (Jimmy) and Mike Cayson (Kathryn); and his niece Emily Mize (Will).
