He is survived by: his father James Melvin Pannell; his wife Stephanie McShay Knox Colburn of Fulton; his children, Akacia Colburn, Austin Colburn, Ashton Colburn and Terrance Jones; his stepmother Ada Pannell of Tupelo; and his siblings, Chanell Lacy of Fulton, LaToya Pannell of Tupelo, Andre Pannell of Nashville, TN, Lance Colburn of Fulton and Felix Shumpert of Dorsey.
