She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hammock and Shelly Self Hammock; and her husband Miron Elbert Garrett. She is survived by: her daughter Annette Brown of Tremont; and her grandchildren, William Mattingly III of Clover, SC, Elbert Robinson and Francis Woltz of Tremont. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Senter Funeral Home Chapel (707 S Adams St, Fulton, MS 38843). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Senter Funeral Directors (707 S Adams St, Fulton, MS 38843).
