He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Umfress and Earline Umfress; and his former wife Araminta Bourland Umfress. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Umfress Mauney (John Mauney) of Tupelo, MS; his grandchildren, Lee Mauney (Deta) of Denver, CO and Brittany Buchs (Nick) of Atlanta, GA; his great grandchildren, Baylor Moon Buchs and Camryn Araminta Buchs; his wife Etta Kate Morrow Umfress; his stepson Chris Morrow; his grandchildren, John Marshall (Claire) of Portland, TN, David Morrow and Marion Steckler (Stephen) of Madison, MS; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Morrow and Elora Stekler.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Senter Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
