It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clyde Wilson of Fulton, Mississippi, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wilson and Angie Turner Wilson; his former wife Hazel Wilson; his wife Louise Wilson; his children, Joseph Wilson and Mary Scarbrough; his children-in-law, Mike O'Flarity, Donnie Sandlin, Bud Goodwin and Nancy Wilson; his grandson Johnny Sandlin; and his siblings, Alex Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Odene Shields, Robbie Fae Banks, Odell Truelove, Mellie Nesler and Voline Wilson.

He is survived by: his children, Edna O'Flarity of Terry, MS, Nelson Wilson of Fulton, Ronnie Wilson (Linda) of Fulton, Cindy Goodwin of Brewer, Lisa Sandlin of Peppertown and Angie Wilson of Mantachie; his son-in-law Ricky Scarbrough of Starkville; his grandchildren, Kevin O'Flarity (Jennifer) of Jackson, Drew Wilson of Red Bay, AL, Shane Fortenberry (Leslie) of Starkville, Christie Davis (Hoyt) of Jackson Chasity, Melissa Wilson (Peggy) of Fulton, Leigh Childs (Scott) of Madison, MS, Lacey Oswalt (Dillon) of Red Bay, AL, Kim Thorn (Eric) of Nettleton and Laine Ozbirn (Stacy) of Golden; and his close friends, Ricky Parker, Mary Nell Ray and Harleigh Archie. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.

“I was so saddened to hear of Clyde's passing but find comfort in the knowledge of his long healthy life. He was a wonderful caring man who always had a kind word and no matter his true personal feeling of folks, he was never guilty of speaking negatively publicly, or at least that was my personal experience with him. He loved to play little pranks and I was often the one on the receiving end of his humor and will never forget this loving man . My continued prayers for his family & friends.”
