She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Wheeler and Lola Mae Franks Mears; her husband Jake Gambill; her grandson Chuck Taylor; her great grandchild Scott Gray; and her siblings, Horace Mears, Billy Mears, Bobby Mears, Betty Shelton and Cathy Stull.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Taylor (Brenda) of Huddleston, VA and Jenny Johnson (Vernon) of Fulton; her grandchildren, Candy Sheffield (Mark), Ginger Hugely (Keith), Brian Price (Allison), Sabrina Price, Mike Johnson (Elizabeth) and Danny Johnson (Sherry); her great grandchildren, Sierra Gray, Summer Buse (Tyler), Austen Hugely, Zack Sheffield (Emily), Ben Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Jacob Johnson and Baylee Johnson; and her siblings, Linda Irvin (Jim), Roger Mears (Lu) and Kenneth Mears. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home - Fulton (401 S Cummings St, Fulton, MS 38843). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
