She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Gardner and Cleta Faye Jones Gardner; and her siblings, Bobby Dean Gardner, Doyle Wayne Gardner, Loretta Ferguson and Sue Carnathan.
She is survived by: her son Kenny Umphress; and her brother Gary Gardner (Brenda). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
