He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Thornhill and Susie Bedwell Thornhill; and his son Michael Lane Thornhill. He is survived by: his wife Mavis Roberts Thornhill; his children, Lisa Lavon Hall (Berkley), Sandra Lea Anthony (Robbie) and Kenneth Lenn Thornhill (Glenda); his sister Patricia Stringer (Emmitt); and his grandchildren, Tessa Forbes (Andrew), Tara Pierce (Grant), Anthony Morgan (Heather), Adrianne Darr (Josh), Drew Stringer (Mandy), Lee Stringer (Stacey), Erika Thornhill and Lane Thornhill. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
