She was predeceased by: her husband Hoys Boone; her parents, Merida Martin and Gladys Martin; and her brother Jewel R. Martin. She is survived by: her children, K. J. Boone, S. Joy May, Cherry Jan Boone Turnage (David) and Russell H. Boone; and her sister Wandell Martin Fortenberry (Gene). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
