She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Thornhill; her daughter Amanda Thornhill; her parents, Barney Sumrall and Rosa Holmes Sumrall; her siblings, Ruby S. Thornhill, Thomas Sumrall, W. D. Sumrall, Harrell Sumrall and Jerry Sumrall; her grandson Vince Rials; and her sons-in-law, Louis Elton Bozeman and Donnie Rials.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Bozeman and Deana Rials; her grandson Chase Bozeman (Leonia); her great grandchildren, Kristen Rials, Amanda Bozeman and Thomas Bozeman; her sister-in-law Bonnie Sumrall; and her granddaughter-in-law Donna Rials. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
