She was predeceased by: her parents, J. P. Roberts and Allie Roberts; her brothers, Gary Roberts and Dewey Roberts; her son Michael Lane Thornhill; and her husband Wyndol L. Thornhill.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lenn Thornhill (Glenda), Lisa Lavon Hall (Berkley) and Sandra Lea Anthony (Robbie); her sister Lynn Sanders (Joey); and her grandchildren, Tessa Forbes (Andrew), Tara Pierce (Grant), Anthony Morgan (Heather), Adrianne Darr (Josh), Drew Stringer (Mandy), Lee Stringer (Stacey), Erika Thornhill and Lane Thornhill. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
