With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marshall Lewis Thornhill of Foxworth, Mississippi, born in Marion, Mississippi, who passed away on March 13, 2023 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Welton Thornhill and Ruby Thornhill; his brothers, Joe Thornhill, David Thornhill and Bill Thornhill; his grandson Marshall McLeod; and his wife Jo Ann Thornhill.

He is survived by: his children, Twyla McLeod (David Sr.) and Marvin Thornhill (Cindy); his sister Linda McKenzie; his grandchildren, David McLeod, Jr. (Niki), Marissa Lott (Josh), Colby Thornhill (Bethany), Abby Smith (Alex), Shonna Broome (Gary Ladner) and Anthony Broome (Bridget); and his great grandchildren, Marshall Lott, Leslie Lott, Lynnlee Lott, Charlie Lott, Benson Smith, Bryce Ward, Layla Harrington, Jaylynn Harrington, Adi Broome and Alayna Broome. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
