She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Burge and Ruth Burge; her son Curtis Dement, Sr.; her siblings, Michael Burge and Faye Enterkin; and her grandson Chris Watson.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Watson (Austin) of Foxworth, Melinda Reagan of Foxworth, Tammy Rogers (John) of Purvis, Kerry Dement (Lachel) of Foxworth and Eddie Dement (Shelly) of Columbia; her siblings, Jimmy Burge (Carlene), Willie Ray Burge (Grace), Joe Burge (Patty), Betty Enterkin and Louise Alford (Gary); her sister-in-law Millie Burge; her grandchildren, Jeron Dement, Curtis Dement, Blake Dement, Piper Dement, Daxton Reagan, Aaron Reagan, Aaliyah Reagan and Coty Watson; and her great grandchildren, Aidyn Boone, Bryleigh Dement, Breelyn Dement, Gavin Dement, Hollie Watson, Kayly Holmes and Hanna Watson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
