He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Otis Byrd and Jimmie Lou Ginn Byrd; his sister-in-law Debbie Byrd; and his niece Sara Paige Knight. He is survived by: his siblings, Gwynn Byrd of Hattiesburg, Marion Riley (Larry) of Hattiesburg, Patricia Carter (Lindsay) of Hattiesburg, Amanda Walker (Floyd) of Petal, Richard Byrd of Poplarville and Robert Byrd (Joanne) of Pascagoula. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephew and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
