She is survived by: her children, Donald Byrd of Foxworth and Amanda Dale (Sebe); her grandchildren, Christopher Herpel (Rachel) of Hattiesburg and Kelly Herpel of Hattiesburg; her brother Pete Brumfield; and her niece Melissa Brumfield of Cleveland, Tennessee..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Asbury Hospice House, 304 S 40th Ave, Hattiesburg, MS 39402.
