She was predeceased by: her husband Woodward; her parents, Charles Wellman and Laura Williams Wellman; and her siblings, Mary Merritt, Jeannie Wellman, Rose Wellman and Charles Wellman.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa Gerard (Jesse) of Bonifay, FL, Gene Matthew Fornea (Rebecca) of Salem, MS and Jimmy Fornea (Crystal) of Foxworth; and her siblings, Janice Davis of Oloh, MS, Carla Messer (Ricky) of Foxworth and Paul Wellman of Foxworth. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
