It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sammye Jean Webb of Forest, Mississippi, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sparks and Marie Sparks; and her husband Earl Webb. She is survived by: her children, Joe Webb (Judy Austin Webb) of Starkville, Bob Webb (Anita Layton Webb) of Forest, Susan Webb Patrick (Larry Patrick) of Rogers, AR and Dan Webb of Forest; her granddaughters, Jessica Webb Wood (J. R. Wood) of Madison, Samantha Webb Laird of Laurel, Jodi Webb of Nashville, TN and Holly Webb Morgan (Thomas Morgan) of Laurel; and her great grandchildren, Neal Wood, Wilkes Wood, Webb Laird, Houston Sparks Morgan and Robbye Ann Morgan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes - Forest (295 E 1st St, Forest, MS 39074). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hillsboro Baptist Cemetery (7292 Old Hillsboro Rd, Forest, MS 39074).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hillsboro Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
