She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. Fortenberry and Maggie Fortenberry; her former husband Allen Dale Gullette; her husband Irby Duncan; her son Timothy Gullette; and her siblings, Jamie "Buddy" Fortenberry, Shirley Myatt, Annie Griffin and Clara Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Stevens (Scott) of Philadelphia, MS and Jason Duncan (Towanda) of Mendenhall, MS; and her sisters, Nelda Applewhite of Walnut Grove, MS and Linda Carr of Lake, MS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
