Though Kermit may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit D. Carpenter, Sr. and Ruby Ruth Travis; his sister Mary Jane McDonald; and his wife Katherine Herron Carpenter. He is survived by: his sister Ann Allison of Forest, MS; and his niece Corrie Ann Hollingsworth of Richland, MS. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
