He is survived by: his wife Wanda Wallace Goodson; his children, Shea Goodson Warren, Ashley Goodson and Michael Goodson (Holly) of Raleigh; his siblings, Ruby Wedgeworth (John), Virginia Batte (Bennie), Nita McGriff (James), Joyce Beatty (David) of Polkville, James Goodson of Cohay and David Goodson (Linda) of Lorena; and his grandchildren, Hannah Warren, Andrew Goodson, Savannah Brooks and Aubrey Goodson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
