She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Bennett and Alma Miller Bennett; her husbands, Buster Brogdon and John E. Gardner; her son David Brogdon; her siblings, Carlene Thrash and Mike Bennett; and her stepchildren, Peggy Clements, John L. Gardner and Martin V. Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Brogdon McCullough (Percy) of Vicksburg and Jones Brogdon (Robin) of Moselle; her siblings, Mavis Withers of Morton and Nolan Bennett (Faye) of Isom, KY; her stepdaughters, Betty Clements, Brenda Bassett and Diane Johnson; her stepdaughters-in-law, Cathy Sue Gardner and Pat Jordan; and her friends, Pat Brock, Ducky and John McCarty. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
