He is survived by: his wife Vilma Arauz Contreras of Miami, FL; his mother Ramona Blanco of Nicaragua; his children, Luisa Contreras of Nicaragua, Luis Adony Contreras of Nicaragua and Griselda Contreras of Nicaragua; and his siblings, Maria Jose Contreras of Nicaragua, Rita Contreras of Nicaragua, Dagoberta Contreras of Nicaragua, Erasmo Contreras of Nicaragua and Felipe Contreras of California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
