He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Cornelia Wicker and John Jacob Marker; his daughter Michelle Pennington; his cousin Wayne Wicker; and his stepson Joe Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Maker of Homewood, MS; his sons, Paul Marker of Charlotte, NC and Brandon Marker of Johnson City, TN; his stepdaughter Sharon Norton of Homewood, MS; and his brother Steve Marker. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, his six great-grandchildren.
