He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Barnett and Mary Ella McMillan; his son Mickey Barnett; and his stepdaughter Penny O'hara. He is survived by: his wife Jean Barnett of Harperville, MS; his son Rickey Barnett of Mendenhall, MS; and his stepsons, Terry King of Harperville, MS and Mike King of Brandon, MS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
