We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2023, at the age of 74, Roger Beutell Thornton of Flowood, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beutell Thornton and Mavis Street Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Diane Thornton; his children, Sandy Valentine, Bradley B. Thornton (Misti) and Chad Thornton (Jami); his sister Cheryl Chapman (Allen); and his grandchildren, Tyler Alford, Grayson Hovas, Sadie Raye Thornton and Sophie Risher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund at 100 Brandon Baptist Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
