He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Alvin Stevens and Ruth Tranum Stevens; his siblings, Hugh Earnest Stevens, Charles William Stevens, Elisha Dennis Stevens and Mildred Rebecca Braswell; and his brothers-in-law, Maurice Braswell and Dr. Arthur Lindsey.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Franklin "Pap" Stevens (Rosemary) of Boyle, Mississippi and Louise Ruby Stevens of Oxford, Mississippi; his sister-in-law Claudine Rawls Stevens of Oxford; his nieces and nephews, Hugh Ward Stevens (Alice), Richard William Stevens (Judy), Michael Dennis Rawls Stevens (Vicki), Ann Gale Stevens, Rebecca Lynn Graham and Rhonda Lee Lindsey; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Holly Lindsey Graham, Lauren Elizabeth Eklund (Jay), Victoria Claire Stevens, Emily Elise Stevens, Ryan Ashley Stevens and Heath Michael Stevens.
