He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Arthur Welsh and Octavia Franssen Welsh; his wife Marjorie Leora Foss Welsh; and his brother Ronald Welsh. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Wilkins (Bob) of Brandon, MS, Mark Welsh (Maribel) of Hollywood, SC, Nancy Hamilton (Tim) of New London, CT and Bill Welsh (Luz Eugenia) of Chadds Ford, PA; and his grandchildren, Mike Wilkins (Lahni), Matt Wilkins (Leila), Bill Hamilton, Karen Chouest (Ryan), Monica Buckley (Andrew) and Andrew Welsh (Haeleigh). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Backpack Ministry at Crossgates United Methodist Church, 23 Crossgates Dr., Brandon, MS 39042.
