He was predeceased by: his son Douglas "Doug" Anthony Hammond; and his parents, Harold Lloyd and Magdalene Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Mary Faye Hammond; his son Jason Paul Hammond; his sister Sharon Kay Bayard (Dale); and his stepchildren, Billy Tilghman (Traci), Melanie Sutterfield, Heather Tudor (Todd), Stephen Tilghman and Leah Pinnix. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church (1126 Boyd Rd, Utica, MS 39175).
Harold William Hammond, born on September 26, 1948, in Frankfurt Germany, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on February 9, 2025, at VA Hospital in Jackson, MS from complications of Parkinson's Disease.
