She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Frederick Walters; and her siblings, Wiley Shearer, Kenneth Shearer, Buford Shearer, Catherine Shearer Armour, Vonnie Shearer Harris and Lawrence Shearer.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Shearer of Jackson; her daughters, Toni Walters Clayton of Alabama and Connie Walters Barnes (Mike) of Canton; and her grandchildren, Morgan Clayton Richardson of Alabama, Brenner Hobbs (Sandy) of Clinton, Mitch Clayton of Alabama, Dailey Harrison Stubbs (Jordan) of Clinton and Mallory Barnes Shinn (Michael) of Madison. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
