She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Richard Thomas; her daughters, Nancy Thomas and Sandra Thomas Friend; her parents, Otis E. Gilbert and Lillian McCaskill Gilbert; her siblings, Charlotte Pierce, Otis "Buster" Gilbert Jr. and Elmer Lee Gilbert; and her grandson Christopher Haynes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki (Blake Morgan) and Lisa (Mike Cumpton); her grandchildren, Angela (John Gragson), Stacy (Cam Auerswald), Michael Paul (Lyndsay Cumpton), Mary Lauren Cumpton (Sean Tillis), Travis (Tiffany Friend), Tessie Hall Massey (Logan Massey), Joshua (Ashley Burt), Ernest Milton Walker and Vlad Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Zoey Cumpton, Waylon Cumpton, Ella Auerswald, Charlie Gragson, Kayden Friend, Emma Friend, Sadie Massey and Chrislee Mobley.
