He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Lucille Bollig Rieger; and his children, Jacquelyn Scallorn (Earl), David Rieger Jr. (Donna), Carolyn Nordin, Sandra Stegall (Dale) and Richard Rieger (Frances). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
