It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Arthur Davey of Flowood, Mississippi, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Davey and Isabelle Davey; and his siblings, Donald, Frederick Davey and Bethene Davey Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Marie Davey; and his children, Paul Davey, Amy Mauldon Bethene "Beth" Britt, Barbara "Barbie" Sullivan Massey and Mark Davey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations, in his name, to Habitat for Humanity, at which he worked building houses for those in need, or to Riggs Manor in Raymond, MS, for the benefit of others, in the final years of life.
