He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Parrish and Eutra Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Myers Parrish; his daughter Teresa Ann Berry; his grandchildren, Chase, Angel, Misty and Wendy; and his son Kerry Virgil Parrish. He is also survived by grandchildren, (Dustin and Justin); 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.

Virgil Eugene Parrish, age 97, died of Alzheimer's on July 9, 2024, at his home in Florence, MS.
