She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Smith; her husband Tim Stogner; her son Mark Stogner; and her granddaughter Hope Stogner. She is survived by: her son Andy Stogner (Shannon) of Florence, MS; her granddaughters, Brooke Stogner of Florence and Katie Stogner of Florence; her sisters, Nancy Ellis of Chattanooga, TN and Randye Temple of Florence, MS; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Stogner (Charlene) of Long Beach, MS and Tommy Stogner (Martha) of Terry, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Susan can be made to the Children's Hospital of Alabama or to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Neurofibromatosis Clinic in honor of her granddaughter Brooke, or to the Arthritis Foundation in memory of Susan.
