It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Joseph Stuart of Florence, Mississippi, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robbie Stuart and Lillie Stuart; and his brothers, Marion Stuart and Harvey Stuart. He is survived by: his wife Joyce K. Stuart of Florence; his children, Ronald Joseph Stuart II (Lesley Anne) of Madison and Corrie Dyess (Derrick) of Florence; his grandchildren, Caleb Dyess of Florence, Brendan Dyess of Florence, Colin Stuart of Madison and Lauren Berl of Madison; and his siblings, Marlin Stuart of Hattiesburg, Monroe Stuart of DeRidder, LA, Don Stuart of DeRidder, LA, Leroy Stuart of Hattiesburg, Otho Stuart of Hattiesburg, Oscar Stuart of Hattiesburg, Shirley Morrow of Purvis, Lillie Mae Beech of Purvis and Jean Pursley of Hattiesburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (49 Burnt Bridge Rd, Hattiesburg, MS 39402). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
