It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Smithhart Sr. (Florence, Mississippi), born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Lee Smithhart and Mary Adelle Irwin Smithhart; and his brother-in-law John Trest. He is survived by: his wife Luann Smithhart of Richland, MS; his children, Roger Smithhart (Xiana) of Mint Hill, NC, Judy Impiccini (Doug) of McKinney, TX, Vanessa Shiers (William) of Vicksburg, MS and Nycole Gentry of Knoxville, TN; his siblings, Bobby Smithhart (Lorraine) of Vicksburg, MS and Kathy Trest of Vicksburg, MS; his grandchildren, Abram Nelson, Noah Smithhart, Sayrah Smithhart, Tori Shiers and Cody Shiers; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle and Tommy Shiers. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.
