He was predeceased by: his father Sidney Roy McLaughlin; his stepfather Bill Smith; and his sister Karen Martin. He is survived by: his mother Annette Dykes McLaughlin Smith; his sister Cheryl Johnson (Nicki); his nephew Aaron Pridgen; his niece Tanya McIntyre (Derek); his great-niece Tiffany Flowers; his great-nephew Garrett Flowers; and also, Adalyn Flowers and Beck Flowers. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
