We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2023, at the age of 83, Nelson Kenneth Bounds Sr. of Florence, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Pauline James; and his grandson Matt Bounds. He is survived by: his wife Vondale Bounds; his children, Nelson "Ken" Kenneth Bounds, Jr. (Diana), Michael "Mike" A. Bounds (Paige) and Tonya Evans (James); his stepchildren, Wayne Ellis and Angela Ellis; his sisters, Shirley Burnham and Virginia Porch; and his niece Faye Bounds. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several other beloved extended family members and friends.
