She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Lambert and Myrtle Hampton Lambert; her husband William E. Neal, Jr.; and her siblings, Glenn Lambert, Grover Lambert, Wayne Lambert, Mildred Boyles and Melba Berry.

She is survived by: her children, Randall Neal and Stephanie Higginbotham; and her grandchildren, Elizabethann Neal, Ashley Pettit (Kimberly) and Cody Nelson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Briar Hill Baptist Church or the Gideons.
